Good review! I never liked the scent of the the edt only the lotion or the body cream. I hope this helped you a bit? Oh well, I'm flattered that you think I know perfume. I believe it is at Harrods and of course at Versailles. I never tried that. For me a lot of its comfort is because it's such a familiar scent from so far back. I'm rather pleased with myself that I had the sense to work my way through a bottle of Coco (probably my favorite) in my 20s. Im very much looking forward to Les Exclusifs. I think of No22 being worn best on a young girl. I checked the Perfumed Court as well. 22 is now part of the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection, $200 for 200 ml Eau de Toilette. I kind of like aldehydes I don't tend to seek them out, but they're never a problem for me so I began to enjoy the phase where the aldehydes melt into the heart florals, getting sweeter and warmer every minute. it's Chanel!

I live in Lexington, Kentucky and there are no places here that have 22 available. . My first Chanel was #19, purchased for me by my Mom, around the time of my college graduation. Im not V but I emailed Chanel & asked them where I could still find a bottle of Bd & CdR (stockpiling impulse, you know ;D ) & they were very helpful: within one day I got an answer telling me where I still can purchase them. I know that I really do enjoy women who wear it. They all seem to be run by behemoths like LVMH who, by the sad decline of their products, keeps tightening the budget for materials (while spending gazillions on marketing). I believe they followed through but it is a mystery that nothing has come in the mail. They said they would send a sample, taking my address and name, but nothing has arrived. 19 did nothing for me. Sadly, I can only remember finding only the EDT .. during the course of my many perfume excursions. A woman wearing the right perfume can alter my consciousness. Ill eat eggs on bread for the whole month afterwards, I dont care. I find it a bit tedious to write reviews of fragrances from the same house for a few days days in a row, even if they are different. The EDT can not hold a candle to it. I too was a girl looking for a bigger, better world. Have you tried a recent version and do you consider it just as nice? 22.

All I have no words. The heart of No 22 is comprised of beautifully indolic jasmine, orange blossom, and also the green tartness of lilac and the buttery sweetness of rose. I think No.22 is only available now in the large bottle of EdT you mention. 22 will always be special to me, since its the first real perfume I ever wore. Too bad. I called Chanel to see if theyd send small vials, they said no. Well, Bois des Iles and No. For me,she is a diamond, cold, breathtakingly beautiful, a tad austere yet mesmerizing all the same. 22 perfume for old times sake, though. This is it, my one and only!

Really, considering how large the bottle is, the price isn't so bad. I am very disappointed that they decided to do this. I associate fragrances with certain colors including hair color. Sigh.. relief I made it clear that it was the extrait (psrfum0 pure perfume I was talking about the EDT. 22 I at least aspired to pastel dresses, so I think you've pegged the fragrance pretty well. However, I think I am really more of a white flowers kind of girl so I have been wanting to get No. I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried the parfum of this and how it compares to the EDT? One still has to keep in mind the concept of the line, etc.

Vivid and tender, it alternates between elegant aloofness and sweet warmth, all the while being polished and seamless. The incense makes it something interesting, and you know enough about Chanel not to be scared off by the aldehydes.
