I just hate it when you order 2 pairs of the same jeans and they are completely different sizes.
The deep melody in the same size seemed a little big at first so I wore them thinking they would skink a little in the wash. Over the course of wearing them they just got enormous. Boot-cut jeans look phenomenal with heels and boots, plus they complement the reemerging grunge style. I can sit and not feel like I can't breath.
You don't have to unbutton the flap to use the pocket. These sit well below my waist, so no gapping occurs. I've been wearing the same brand for years and eventually they wear out in the worse possible way so they need to be replaced occasionally. The inseam of the Winding Road was 30 inches, but the inseam on the Desert Sky was 29 inches. Same brand, same style, cut etc. I am fine with the lighter weight, as we are about to go into summer, and I hope and pray this style never gets discontinued and that Zappos always sells it. These were definitely for a tall person so two stars off because I had to hem them up about three inches to fit a normal sized leg. This is why I hate stretch jeans! I do love the look of the Winding Road especially the flap that is sewn onto the regular back pocket. I ordered short and they are still about two inches too long!
